Hi guys
As promised in the team meeting, I have talked to my friends in Sun Star and Cebu Daily News about possibly writing a story about our XP Club. Thanks to my friend Kate Go who's a feature writer for Cebu Daily News, CDN has agreed to publish a feature story about us for FREE!!! In the meantime, Kate is also working on Sun Star to do the same for us.
So here is a great opportunity for this interesting group of people to be presented to the communities in Cebu. I consider this as an honor to be featured in the local newspaper and to tell the stories about this dynamic football club. I would like to call on every member of this club to make an effort to make this news article a success, which will benefit each one of us!
Kate has been a long-standing contributor for CDN and has great friends among the managing staff both in CDN and Sun Star. There are some basic requirements that she would like us to help with before she writes up the article:
1.She needs to take photos of us as a team wearing team jerseys. You are also welcome to provide old photos of the club.
2.She would like to interview as many players as possible from different countries to get a complete picture.
3.She suggests that interview and photo-taking can be arranged at our Saturday practice or a certain venue (like Angelina).
I will leave it to Otto/Tony how to get all the work done in a most convenient way. But I would like to stress here again (sorry it's an age thing...some of you will understand) that this will be done for us for FREE! So we should all make a serious effort to help in this club initiative which will be appreciated by me personally and Kate!
