hi guys
an exhausted manila squad reports back..after managing to be second in our group with one win and two draw we played a strong japanese team in the 1/4 final. we hold them to a 1:1 in regular time but lost again a penalty shoutout.. the japanese later cruised into the final after beating in the semi an totaly exhausted singapore team which knockedout in the quarter the big favorite team Bondi.
we had again great fun on the pitches of nomads and burgos, everything was well organized but what we learned from this tournament is that if you are not a COMPLETE team you win nothing.
we were down to 9 players, that meant only 2 subs and the matches are 24 min. long. only with 12 fit players you can reach anything in this strong competition. every team who is going there in the future should considers this fact.
